"We adore Simone and Jonathan, and their portrayal of Kate and Anthony is absolute magic," she enthused. "But it wouldn't be fair to ask them to return simply for fleeting background appearances after they poured their hearts into their season."
She emphasized the writers' desire to give Kate and Anthony storylines that are both meaningful and manageable, given their other commitments.

Kate and Anthony's temporary relocation to India isn't merely a logistical solution, however.
"As we move forward with the stories of the remaining Bridgerton siblings, we'll be venturing beyond the ton," Brownell hinted. "The books, particularly those focusing on Benedict, Eloise, and Francesca, take us to new and exciting locations, and we're eager to explore those possibilities on screen."
