Tickets for Adele's show ranged from £60 to an exorbitant £500, with prices skyrocketing up to £22,000 on certain resale websites. In fact, it was estimated that the singer would earn over £500,000 per show.

Now, Adele's devoted fans, who had gathered in Vegas, are criticizing the singer for not being better prepared for the residency or for not canceling with more advance notice. Social media users like Girl Fieri expressed devastation after using their precious vacation days solely to attend Adele's shows. Fieri tweeted, "It's my birthday, and I am currently on an airplane, using up the last of my vacation time for the year, non-refundable deposits, and a week of babysitting... I'm saddened by the fact that you couldn't make this decision earlier."
