Number nine: Escape preparations. Michael Schofield and his fellow inmates hit a roadblock when their escape plan is discovered.
As the clock winds down, Michael must solve multiple problems in very little time, building up to a nail-biting confrontation with the warden.
Number eight: Veronica's death. Veronica Donovan, a lawyer, uncovers evidence proving Lincoln's innocence. However, she is silenced for good by company agents before she can spread the news. Her death conveys the message that no one is safe in the series.
