Iain Armitage, the star of Young Sheldon, has reunited with Danielle Pinnock, who portrayed Mrs. Ingram, Medford High School's math teacher.

As production for the new season continues, Armitage took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with Pinnock.

Apart from characters from the prequel, fans would also enjoy seeing familiar faces from The Big Bang Theory.

So far, Howard and Amy have already made voice cameos, but it is crucial for Young Sheldon to include Leonard and Penny, Sheldon's closest friends.

While the spin-off has kept viewers updated on what the Pasadena gang has been up to, there has been no mention of the Hoftstadters.

Admittedly, the shortened season may pose a challenge in terms of incorporating supporting characters into the show. With only 14 episodes remaining, it will be difficult to address all the lingering plot points in the family comedy.

However, if handled efficiently, CBS has the potential to successfully integrate these cameos, ultimately leading to a more satisfying final year for Sheldon and his family.
