Southampton's 11-year stay in the Premier League may be coming to an end as they were convincingly beaten 4-2 by Nottingham Forest. The result all but secured their relegation, with the only thing missing being the big R next to Saints' name in the league table. Taiwo Awoniyi scored his first brace for Forest, and Morgan Gibbs-White and Danilo added the others, while Charly Alcaraz and James Ward-Prowse scored for Southampton.
Despite a late surge, Keylor Navas showed his experience to deal with the aerial onslaught and secure the three points for Forest, moving them three points above the relegation zone with three games to play.
